Terms of service

The terms on which we provide the InspireGRC platform.

Draft for legal review. Remove this note once your lawyer has approved the text.

Last updated 19 October 2026.

Agreement

These terms are an agreement between InspireGRC Solutions Private Limited ("InspireGRC") and the organisation that signs up or signs an order form ("Customer"). An order form signed by both sides takes precedence over these terms where they differ.

The service

InspireGRC provides software that helps organisations manage governance, risk and compliance work. We will provide the service with reasonable skill and care, and keep it secure as described on our Security & trust page.

Not legal advice, and people decide

InspireGRC helps you prepare. It does not give legal advice and it cannot certify you. Certification decisions belong to your auditor or certification body. Content drafted by AI features must be reviewed and approved by a person on your team before you rely on it, and the Customer is responsible for what it approves and submits.

Accounts

The Customer is responsible for its users, for keeping sign-in details secure and for activity under its account. Tell us at once if you suspect unauthorised access.

Acceptable use

Do not use the service to break the law, to upload malicious code, to test our security without permission, to access other customers' data, or to resell the service without our written agreement.

Your data

The Customer owns the data it puts into the service. We use it only to provide the service, as set out in our Data Processing Agreement, which forms part of these terms. You can export your data at any time during your subscription.

Fees and payment

Fees are set out in the order form, invoiced yearly in advance in Indian rupees, plus GST. Invoices are due within 30 days. We may suspend the service if an invoice is more than 30 days overdue, after giving notice.

Our intellectual property

We own the platform, its content libraries and its software. The Customer receives a right to use them during the subscription. Feedback you give us may be used to improve the service.

Confidentiality

Each side will keep the other's confidential information confidential and use it only for this agreement.

Warranties

Except as written in these terms, the service is provided "as is". We do not promise that it will be free of errors or that using it will result in passing an audit.

Limitation of liability

Neither side is liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profit. Each side's total liability under this agreement is limited to the fees paid in the 12 months before the claim. These limits do not apply to fraud, or to anything that cannot be limited by law.

Term and ending

The subscription runs for the period in the order form and renews for the same period unless either side gives 30 days' notice. Either side may end the agreement if the other materially breaches it and does not fix the breach within 30 days of notice. After the end, the Customer may export its data for 30 days, after which we delete it as set out in the DPA.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Chennai have exclusive jurisdiction.
